Concern expressed over listing of non-Kashmiris in census

Veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, has expressed serious concern over the enumeration of non-Kashmiris in the ongoing so-called census in occupied Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Ali Gilani talking to media men in Srinagar said that the Inter-District Recruitment Bill, which provides 8 percent reservation to non-Kashmiris, was tantamount to fleecing and robbing Kashmiris of their economic rights.

He said that India was conspiring to promote regionalism and communalism in the occupied territory. He said that a campaign would be launched to make the people of the occupied territory aware of the anti-movement conspiracies hatched by India.

Syed Ali Gilani pointed out that India had been depriving the people of Jammu and Kashmir of choosing their future themselves for the last 63 years. He vowed to continue the freedom struggle till its logical conclusion.
