No confrontation between the Judiciary and Government: Babar Awan

Federal Minister for Law & Justice Babar Awan has ruled out differences between the government and the Supreme Court.

Talking in a media program here on Monday, he said that the government is committed to ensure implementation of the court’s verdict adding, “We have not been on collision course with the judiciary”.

Minister of state for Ports and Shipping Nabeel Gabol said that the president enjoys immunity under the constitution and any judge couldn’t challenge this.

He also informed that Attorney General Mansoor Anwar had not refused to accept the verdict of the apex court adding that cases against PPP’s politicians and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto were politically motivated.
