Quaid Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has warned the government of decisive decision by N-League if it did not take effective measures to lessen problems face by the people of the country due to price hike.
Talking to media here on Tuesday at the residence of senior journalist Ataul Haq Qasmi here, Quaid PML-N while criticizing the government said that it has done nothing in the last two years to overcome electricity crisis and it should take measures to address people grievances.
Quaid PML-N said that time is not far away when he would be on road with the people of the country on the issue of loadshedding.
He said that the government should adopt alternative means in view of current electricity crisis and coal should be used in this regard.
He termed the increase in the prices of petrol, oil and electricity as unjust with the poor people of the country, adding N-League raised the issue in the Parliament on Monday and observed walkout from the House.
Responding to a question, Chief PML-N said that those elements trying to create misunderstandings between judiciary and parliament are not sincere with the country, adding both institutions are respected and PML-N would not support any clash between them.
Answering another question, Mian Nawaz Sharif said that some elements including politicians and lawyers who supported Pervez Musharraf in sacking and arrest of judges, now are talking about impendency of the judiciary.
On situation emerging in Hazara on the name of Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa, the former Prime Minister said that some people are misleading local residents of Hazara just for their personal objectives and urged upon the government to pay attention on the issue.
On the construction of Kala Bagh Dam, Quaid PML-N said that the decision on the issue should be taken by the Parliament like the decision was taken by it on 18th Amendment.
Earlier, addressing to a consultative meeting of PML-N held at Chief Minister House on reorganization of the party, Quaid PML-N said that his party after restoration of the judiciary and the constitution is focusing on solution of problems being faced by the people.
Meanwhile, a large number of party’s workers protested in front of the CM House, as they were not allowed to attend the meeting, adding genuine workers have no respect in the party.
