Intelligence Agencies starts working secretly on Faisal Shehzad’s case

Pakistan’s Intelligence Agencies have initiated their work secretly to probe attack conspiracy at New York Time Square while a special investigation group of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been assigned task to investigate the issue and seek information about Faisal Shahzad.

Reliable sources informed that Intelligence Agencies after detention of Faisal Shahzad in the US has also arrested some suspected persons from Karachi including Sheikh Muhammad Rehan, an activist of a banned out fit

Sources further revealed that Faisal Shahzad had visited Peshawar in July 7, 2009, where he held meeting with Muhammad Rehan who was arrested now from Karachi while the identification of other detainees has not been disclosed for some reason.

Sources also informed that Faisal Shahzad basically belonged from North Nazimabad area of Karachi and he used to work secretly for Jaish-e-Muhammad.

On the other side, Interior Minister Rehman Malik has directed the chief of Special Investigation Group, Khalid Qureshi to collect complete information of Faisal Shehzad and his links in the country.

It is pertinent to mention that government of Pakistan has already assured its complete cooperation to the US government regarding the issue of Faisal Shahzad.
