The fact-finding commission constituted to probe into the issue of immediate washing of site of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination has finally been presented to PM, by the very committee formed for the purpose.
The 3-member fact-finding commission, formed in the aftermath of public disclosure of the UN report of Benazir’s assassination, had probed more than 40 persons regarding their investigations.
The 3-member committee headed by federal cabinet secretary, Abdul Rauf Chaudhry, and including vice chief of general staff (VCGS) Maj. Gen Sajjad Ghani and additional secretary Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Fayyaz Toro, has reported no concrete indications, regarding exact source of orders given to wash the assassination site immediately. It has however indicated Rawalpindi administration as being responsible for the action.
It is pertinent to mention that according to report, all concerned would be punished according to law.
