Torture on women infront of male police personnel is regrettable:Sana Ullah

Provincial Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah has said that violence on A woman infront of male police personnel is condemnable and the investigation is in progress in this regard.
Talking to a private TV channel here on Sunday the Provincial Minister said that the provincial government has a clear stance about such kinds of incidents and would never be tolerated and the responsible’ would be brought to justice.
He said that a case has been registered against the culprits who tortured the lady in women police station infront of male police personnel adding that CPO Faisalabad is an honest police officer and he will take strict action against the responsible persons.
It is pertinent to mention that a woman was made to lie down on her stomach and tortured in a police station of Faisalabad in the presence of senior male officers who took pleasure out of watching the humiliating act.
It has become a common scene where accused, normally males, are subjected to flogging by police. But what happened in the above police station is enough to make humanity feel ashamed where the woman was tortured and abused before senior male police officers.
A female DSP and SHO Women Zahida Perveen were also present on the occasion.
