Strike observed in Haripur for Hazara Province

On the call of Tehreek Soba Hazara, complete wheel-jam and shutterdown strike were observed in District Haripur and all CNG stations, Petrol Pumps and Hotels were closed.

Former State Finance Minister, Umar Ayub Khan visited bazaars of the Haripur with office-bearers of traders organizations.

The infuriated protestors have blocked all routes going to Khanpur Road to Islamabad and GT Road to Peshawar with tyres and trees and passengers faced immense difficulties in reaching their destination. The protests holding sticks roamed the areas.

The leaders of traders organizations on the occasion vowed to continue their struggle until the establishment of Hazara Province. No untoward incident was reported during the strike.
