A fire broke out at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad on Sunday, but there were no reports of casualties.
The fire broke out around 1.20 p.m. local time and was quickly brought under control, according to Private TV. The report said there were no casualties and the fire was believed to have been caused by a technical fault.
On the other hand, Embassy spokesman Richard Snelsire in a statement said a small fire broke out at the U.S. embassy in Islamabad on Sunday.
The cause of the fire, which erupted in the chancery building, was under investigation, he said, adding that, we do not suspect terrorism and that there were no injuries.
