PM appoints new women advisors

Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has appointed two new women advisors.

Kinnaired graduate, and diploma holder of NDU (National defense University) Ms. Yasmeen Rehman, has been appointed as advisor to PM over Women development on honorary basis.

She is also a recipient of chevining fellow scholarship on British High Commission’s nomination, and achieved a diploma from the University College London in gender mainstream in policy planning development 2005-2006.

She has also done orientation study for two weeks at Westminster System of Parliament Visiting Staff Collage.

The prime minister has appointed MNA, Ms. Asma Arbab Alamgir as advisor to the Ministry of States and Frontier Regions on honorary basis.

She has chaired a number of conferences in UN on women international Parliamentarian Union issues, IRI Conferences as well as EU conferences as representative of PPPP.
