PML-N and ANP has reached a consensus on name of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa for NWFP while the official announcement would be made in this regard.

According to details Constitutional Reforms Committee (CRC) including members of PML-N and ANP has agreed on new name of NWFP here on Wednesday.

The sources said that the differences on Judicial Commission have been resolved therefore the demands of PML-N regarding Judicial Commission have also been accepted making it possible for seventh member for JC to be also included. The sources said that the seventh member could be a retired Chief Justice.

Talking to a private TV channel ANP’s senior leader Senator Zahid Khan said that both the PML-N and ANP have reached on consensus regarding the renaming of NWFP.

He said that Chairman CRC Mian Raza Rabbani would make an official announcement in this regard, while the members of the committee have started consultation with their parties in this regard.
