Major General Shahid Hamid Khan, General Officer Commanding 1 Armoured Division expired due to cardiac arrest in CMH Multan here Friday. According to Spokesman Pakistan army, Maj. Gen. Shahid Hamid Khan got commissioned in Armoured Corps in 1979 and served on various command and staff appointments.

His present address is 6 Park Lane Chaklala Scheme-1 Rawalpindi.

He is survived by a widow and three children. His Namaz-e-Janaza was offered in Multan Garrison on Friday. Corps Commander Multan and other officers attended his Namaz-e-Janaza.
