Afghan refugees living cantt areas banned

In the wake of poor law and order situation, the provincial government has banned the living of Afghan refugees in bazaars in cantt areas and started collecting data if Afghans living on rent in these bazaars, officials said on Thursday.
After the terror events in Lahore, instructions of improving security in cantt areas throughout the country have been issued and the Cantonment Board officils have directed all the cantoment boards of the province and intelligence officers to start collecting data of non concered people and Afghan refugees and send report in this regard.
The government has also banned giving houses on rent to Afghan refugees in cantt areas and directed the concenred officials to evacuate houses from Afghan refugees.
