African female aids patient to be shifted to hospital

The NWFP health department has allowed to shift a foreigner female aids patient to the hospital for medical treatment.

According to details, Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested African lady from Peshawar International Airport for smuggling narcotics and shifted her to Central Jail Peshawar.

After some days, Medical test of all prisoners conducted in central jail and after check up the African lady found aids virus positive and jail administration said that her condition become critical.

Before this, a foreigner lady also died due to unavailability of appropriate medical treatment.

Following the recommendations of Jail Administration, the Provincial health department gave approval to shift her to LRH for medical treatment.

For further treatment, she would be given under treatment of Aids Control Programme.
