West trying to draw me into a senseless plot: Dr AQ Khan

Founder of Pakistan’s nuclear program Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan strongly rejected the U.S media’s message that the nuclear scientist admitted that Pakistan had handed over to Iran drawings of bomb instead of weapons, IRNA reported.

“The Washington Post” says that the documents obtained by the publication reflect that Dr. Khan said that Pakistan gave Iran spare parts for centrifuges to enrich uranium and the secret list of vendors throughout the world.

In an exclusive interview with IRNA Khan said that this message is groundless adding that it is part of malicious propaganda campaign against him.

“All that is said in the message is a lie,” he added.

He said that over the past 30 years, the West put forward baseless allegations against him. “I did not do anything wrong,” he said.

Khan believes that the West is trying to draw him into a senseless plot.

Pakistan has also rejected the message. Pakistani Foreign Minister’s Representative Abdul Basit said that “Khan is a closed chapter, Pakistan did not violate its obligations under the non-proliferation and security export controls are not in doubt.”
