The schedule of the address of President Asif Ali Zardari to the joint session of the Parliament has again been changed.
According to sources the President now would address to the joint session of the Parliament at the end of the current month when the recommendations of Constitutional Reforms Committee (CRC) to be tabled in Senate and National Assembly separately.
Sources told that the recommendations of CRC would be tabled in the Lower House next Monday or Tuesday while the session of the Upper House to be convened till March 25.
According to sources, the recommendations would be formally discussed in both the houses of the Parliament before the address of the president.
Sources further told that any member of National Assembly can table recommendations while in Senate, Chairman CRC Mian Raza Rabbani would himself present recommendations in Senate.
The committee completed its 90 percent work and President Asif Ali Zardari wants to address to the joint session of the Parliament after presentation of recommendations in NA and Senate, added by sources.
According to sources, the session of National Assembly would be continued for two weeks. It has also be learnt that the president earlier scheduled to address to the joint session of the Parliament on March 17 but now he would address at the end of the current month due to delay in the preparations of recommendations of the committee.
