NWFP government has decided to provide government jobs and grant special privileges to the eunuchs in the light of Supreme Court (SC) verdict.
SC had directed all the four provincial governments to provide jobs and special privileges to eunuchs. Government jobs included midwife, nurses in government hospitals and jobs in government girls schools and private schools.
NWFP government had started registration work of eunuchs so that privilege package be provided to them. Directives were issued to concerned departments to collect particulars of eunuchs in Peshawar till February, 28 in order to provide jobs to them.
